Modified Deshpande–Fleck Model considering a Variable Plasticity Poisson’s Ratio and a Variable Ellipticity

It is controversial whether the plastic Poisson’s ratio and ellipticity are invariable in Deshpande–Fleck model, which describes constitutive behavior of foam materials. In this paper, model modified by a variable plasticity based on nonassociated flow rule. The measured situ digital image correlation (DIC) technology during uniaxial compression experiment aluminum foam. then determined through experimental data hydrostatic compression. Both vary with strain. Hanssen fitted used to provide hardening law for model. realized subroutine VUMAT ABAQUS/Explicit. There good agreement between results prediction under multiaxial conditions. Furthermore, influence mechanism investigated. prove that it necessary consider both order improve accuracy
